Jubisentis† Zhang, Ren & Yao, 2019 is currently considered as a valid taxon of genus rank in the family Jubisentidae† Zhang, Ren & Yao, 2019 of the Fulgoromorpha. This genus was first described by Ren Dong, Yao Yunzhi and Zhang Xiao in 2019 in the following paper: A new family Jubisentidae fam. nov. (Hemiptera: Fulgoromorpha: Fulgoroidea) from the mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber. Cretaceous Research, 94: 1-7.

It is currently classified in order Hemiptera Linné, 1758, suborder Fulgoromorpha Evans, 1946, superfamily Fulgoroidea Latreille, 1807, family Jubisentidae† Zhang, Ren & Yao, 2019, subfamily Jubisentinae† Zhang, Ren & Yao, 2019, and it represents the type genus for its suprageneric group taxon.

Jubisentis† is monospecific. The type species of the genus is Jubisentis hui† Zhang, Ren & Yao, 2019.

Jubisentis† is an extinct taxon, known only as fossil from the Cenomanian period (100.5 - 93.9 Mya).

2. Jubisentis† Zhang, Ren & Yao, 2019 geographical distribution and bioregions

According to the geographical TDWG standard (2001), Jubisentis† Zhang, Ren & Yao, 2019 are known from the Oriental biogeographical region as defined by Wallace (1876). More precisely, they are distributed in the Oriental zoogeographic region as defined by Holt (2013). Figures 1 and 2 display dynamic graphs showcasing the longitudinal and latitudinal profiles of Jubisentis† Zhang, Ren & Yao, 2019 arround the across the globe according to their species richness. A scroll on the histogram bars displays the species richness of the corresponding regions.

3. Jubisentis† Zhang, Ren & Yao, 2019 biological interactions
